A Study of the Factors Influencing the Decline of Upper Secondary School Education in Pak Xeng District, Luang Prabang Province

This research aims to study the factors that contribute to the decline in upper secondary school enrolment in Pakxeng District, Luang Prabang Province. The target group used in the research is three secondary schools such as Pakkeng secondary school Sopchaek secondary school and Pakxeng secondary school total was 89 students from a junior high school in Pakxeng district. The instrument used to collect data was a 5-level questionnaire and statistical analysis of the data was done using multiple regression. The results found that the factors that influenced the decline in secondary school enrollment in Pak Xeng District, Luang Prabang Province were Teacher factors with a Beta value of 0.537, with a statistically significant interval P-value = 0.000; the coefficient of variation was 0.537 and Economic factors with a Beta value of 0.268, with a statistically significant interval P-value = 0.011; the coefficient of variation was 0.268.
