This research aims to investigate the use and satisfaction of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in Vientiane Capital. The study aims to contribute to promoting the use of smart devices that are efficient, safe, and easy to use. Data were collected from 400 people in 9 districts of Vientiane Capital, using a questionnaire designed to collect information on three aspects: 1) awareness and understanding of users of IoT devices, 2) use of smart devices, and 3) satisfaction with the cost of installing and maintaining IoT devices. The data collected was analyzed using Excel to obtain the mean and standard deviation. The survey results show that, when considering all three aspects: awareness and understanding, use, and satisfaction with the cost of installing and maintaining IoT devices in Vientiane Capital, they are at a moderate level. This highlights the need to increase awareness, reduce costs, and develop solutions that are suitable for local services to promote the wider and more efficient use of IoT technology in the future.
