This study aimed to: 1) examine the efficiency of lesson plans using the Group Learning Together (LT) technique, with a required criterion of 80/80; 2) determine the effectiveness index of students’ learning; and 3) assess students’ satisfaction with the application of the LT technique in teaching political economics. A total of 32 political teacher students year 3 from one class were used as the experimental group. The research instruments consisted of three components: lesson plans, pre- and post-experimental evaluation forms to assess students’ success, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The SPSS program was used to analyze the efficiency of lesson plans (E1/E2), the effectiveness index (EI) of students’ learning, and students’ satisfaction through mean (????̄) and standard deviation (S.D.) analysis. The research results showed that the efficiency of lesson plans for teaching political economics using the Group Learning Together (LT) technique was 88.44/87.50, which exceeded the required criterion of 80/80. The effectiveness index for teaching political economics using the LT technique was 0.80, indicating that students’ learning progress reached 80%. The average level of student satisfaction with the teaching of political economics using the LT technique was high (????̄ = 3.89; S.D. = 0.97).
