Study on the Management of Teaching and Learning of Teachers in Early Childhood Education in Luang Prabang Province

This research examines the teaching and learning management situation of teachers in early childhood education in Luang Prabang province. The study aims to analyze the teaching and learning management practices of early childhood educators and compare these practices between public and private schools in Luang Prabang province. Data were collected from teachers in preschool education across both public and private schools, covering 32 schools with a total population of 320 female teachers. Using the Krejcie & Morgan sample size table, a sample of 175 female teachers was selected for the study. The research utilized questionnaires focusing on seven aspects: preparation and use of curriculum content, lesson planning, environmental management, teaching and learning, use of instructional media, monitoring and evaluation of curriculum implementation, and reporting on curriculum execution. Data were analyzed using SPSS software to determine the mean and standard deviation. The detailed findings revealed that curriculum evaluation reporting, curriculum preparation and use, monitoring and evaluation of curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and teaching and learning were at a good level. However, the use of instructional media and environmental management were at a moderate level. Overall, teachers' opinions on early childhood education in Luang Prabang province across the seven components were at a good level, with no significant differences in the overall comparison results.
