Thirty political science teacher students from one class in the Department of Social Science, Faculty of Education, were used as the experimental group. The research instruments consisted of three components: lesson plans, pre- and post-experimental evaluation forms to assess students’ success, and a satisfaction questionnaire for teaching and learning using the TAI technique in Principles of Economics, based on a five-level Likert scale. The consistency value ranged from 0.66 to 1.00, the difficulty value from 0.66 to 0.81, the discrimination power value from 0.30 to 0.47, the reliability test value was 0.82, and both the satisfaction confidence value and the satisfaction reliability value were 0.86. The SPSS program was used to analyze the effectiveness index (EI) of students’ learning and their satisfaction, using the mean and standard deviation (S.D). The study found that the effectiveness index for teaching and learning Principles of Economics using the TAI technique was 0.8125, indicating that students’ learning progress increased by 81.25%. Additionally, the study revealed that students’ overall satisfaction with the teaching and learning process using the TAI technique was at a high level.
