Abstract

This research aims to identify the training needs of Primary Education Pedagogy Advisors in Champasak Province, focusing on their knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The study involved 35 Pedagogy Advisors, including 15 women, from Champasak Province. Data was collected using an online questionnaire to assess the advisors' needs in three areas: knowledge, skills, and attitudes, covering 13 points with 69 items. The questionnaire used a 5-point scale. The statistical methods used in this research were the mean and standard deviation. Data analysis determined the mean and standard deviation in relation to the provided criteria scale. The research found that, overall, the abilities of Primary Education Pedagogy Advisors in Champasak Province are high, with an average score of 4.02 (S.D. = 0.03) based on the set criteria. Among the three aspects, the highest-rated was attitude, with an average score of 4.38 (S.D. = 0.02), which is considered high according to the set criteria. The lowest-rated aspect was knowledge, with an average score of 3.78 (S.D. = 0.06), though still relatively high compared to the set criteria.
