Abstract

This research aims to examine the status related to teachers’ teaching performance at the Faculty of Education, National University of Laos, and to identify the issues associated with these duties. This study is a survey-based research project with a sample group of 86 teachers. The data collection tool used in this study was a questionnaire, and the data was analyzed using SPSS version 24. Through data analysis the study found that the overall state of teaching performance duties at the Faculty of Education, National University of Laos, had highly practiced with an average score of 4.25 and a standard deviation of 0.45. However, there were some challenges related to limited budget and insufficient support for teachers’ roles; teachers handling multiple tasks simultaneously and teaching beyond their designated hours; significant differences in students’ thinking abilities and knowledge levels and some teachers not having academic qualifications aligned with the subjects they teach.
